Passenger Transport Services
(WA On demand Transport Compliant)
1. Overview and Legal Status
These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the Ridyne platform, including the Ridyne mobile application, website, and associated booking systems (Platform).
Ridyne / My Getaway Driver Personal Drivers , owned by Four CEES Group Pty Ltd (Ridyne, we, us, our) operates a digital booking and management platform that functions as an On demand Booking Service (ODBS) within the meaning of the Western Australia Department of Transport (WA DoT) On demand Transport framework.
By creating an account, making a booking, or using the Platform, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and acknowledge that all services arranged through Ridyne are subject to applicable WA DoT On demand Transport laws, regulations, codes, and operational requirements, as amended from time to time.
2. Role of Ridyne as a B2B SaaS Orchestration Platform
Ridyne is a B2B SaaS mobility Orchestration Platform with marketplace-enabling capabilities, operating as a booking, dispatch, payment, and compliance platform facilitating private passenger transport services provided by authorised drivers via On Demand Booking Service providers.
When a booking is made through the Platform, the passenger enters into an agreement with Ridyne as the Platform, and Ridyne arranges for the transport service to be performed by a suitably authorised ODBS/Driver in accordance with WA DoT requirements.
Ridyne remains responsible for ensuring that all bookings arranged through the Platform are allocated only to Drivers and vehicles that meet the minimum regulatory standards applicable to On demand Transport in Western Australia.
3. Driver Engagement Models
Drivers operating through the Ridyne Platform may do so under one of the following compliant arrangements:
(a) ODBS Affiliated Drivers
Drivers operating under an approved On demand Booking Service that utilises the Ridyne Platform.
(b) Ridyne Freelance Drivers
Drivers who are directly onboarded to Ridyne and operate as independent contractors under Ridyne’s ODBS authority for the purposes of bookings accepted via the Platform.
All Freelance Drivers are:
• independent contractors, not employees of Ridyne
• required to hold valid PTD authorisation
• required to operate a compliant PTV
• subject to Ridyne’s operational oversight
• subject to ongoing compliance monitoring
4. Mandatory WA DoT Compliance
All Drivers, ODBS operators, vehicle owners, and associated entities using the Ridyne Platform must comply fully and at all times with all applicable WA DoT On demand Transport requirements, including but not limited to:
• On demand Booking Service obligations
• Passenger Transport Driver (PTD) authorisation
• Passenger Transport Vehicle (PTV) licensing
• insurance requirements
• fatigue management and work hour limits
• vehicle standards and inspections
• safety duties and record keeping
• driver conduct obligations
Failure to comply with WA DoT requirements may result in immediate suspension or permanent removal from the Platform.
Ridyne reserves the right to audit, verify, suspend, or terminate access to the Platform to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance.
5. Commission and Fare Structure
For bookings completed by On Demand Booking Services Providers with Ridyne Software Platform as a B2B SaaS Mobility Orchestration Platform with Marketplace-enabling capabilities, Ridyne Fees associated with accessing and using the Ridyne Platform are set out on our pricing page.
For bookings completed by Freelance Drivers directly onboarded with Ridyne, Ridyne charges a 15% Technology / Payment Processing / Platform Facilitation on the total fare (inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated).
This payment represents the fee payable to Ridyne for acting as the ODBS and providing:
• booking and dispatch services
• payment processing
• regulatory oversight
• platform access
• customer support
All remaining fare amounts are payable to the Driver in accordance with Ridyne’s payment policies.
6. Passenger Eligibility
Passengers using the Platform confirm that they:
• are at least 18 years of age
• can legally enter binding contracts
• will provide accurate booking information
• will comply with these Terms
7. Account Registration
Passengers must create an Account to place bookings. Information provided must be accurate and kept up to date.
You are responsible for all activity conducted through your Account.
8. Booking Process
When placing a booking, passengers must provide accurate information including pickup location, destination, timing, passenger count, and luggage details.
A Quoted Fare will be provided prior to confirmation. By accepting the fare, you submit a binding booking request to Ridyne.
Ridyne may accept or decline a booking at its discretion, including where a compliant vehicle or Driver cannot be allocated.
9. Pricing and Payments
Fares are calculated using automated systems and may take into account:
• distance and duration
• time and demand
• tolls and statutory charges
• vehicle type
Payments are processed automatically via your nominated payment method or invoiced for approved business accounts.
10. Cancellations and Adjustments
Cancellations, wait time charges, no shows, and refunds are governed by the booking conditions displayed at the time of booking and form part of these Terms.
11. Driver Services
Drivers must:
• comply with all WA DoT obligations
• operate compliant vehicles
• provide services safely and professionally
• follow Ridyne service standards
Drivers may reassign bookings only where permitted under Ridyne rules and WA DoT requirements.
12. Passenger Conduct
Passengers must:
• be ready at the agreed pickup time
• behave lawfully and respectfully
• avoid damaging vehicles
• not transport prohibited items
Cleaning or damage fees may apply where necessary.
13. Insurance and Liability
Drivers are responsible for maintaining all required insurances under WA DoT regulations.
Ridyne does not provide passenger insurance and is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including missed connections or commercial losses.
To the extent permitted by law, Ridyne’s liability is limited to the value of the relevant booking.
14. Indemnity
Passengers agree to indemnify Ridyne against claims or losses arising from:
• breach of these Terms
• misuse of the Platform
• inaccurate booking information
15. Suspension and Termination
Ridyne may suspend or terminate access to the Platform immediately to ensure regulatory compliance or operational integrity.
Outstanding obligations survive termination.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. All parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
