  • Company / business name
  • Contact details
  • Email address
  • Sub-password
  • Required account information
  • Acceptance of Ridyne’s terms and policies

Goal #

At the end of this step, your basic Ridyne account has been created.

Next → Verify Your Email

2. Verify Your Email #

Enter your six-digit OTP #

After registration, Ridyne sends a six-digit One-Time Password (OTP) to the email address you registered.

Enter the OTP when prompted.

⚠️ Important: The OTP must be entered within one minute.

If you don’t receive the OTP #

Check:

  • Your email address is correct
  • Your junk/spam folder
  • Your email connection
  • Whether you need to request another OTP

Completion check #

☑ Email verified
☑ Account verification completed

Next → Complete Your ODBS Documentation

3. Complete Your ODBS Setup #

Upload your Department of Transport documentation #

Your ODBS account must contain the required documentation issued by the Department of Transport.

For each document, ensure you enter the relevant:

  • Document
  • Reference/number
  • Expiry date
  • Other information requested by Ridyne

Enter your ODBS Reference Key #

Under Reference Key, enter the ODBS number issued to your business by the Department of Transport.

Example:

ODBS Reference Key: 1100

Make sure the number you enter matches your Department of Transport documentation.

Before continuing #

☑ ODBS documents uploaded
☑ Document expiry dates entered
☑ ODBS reference number entered
☑ Information checked for accuracy

Next → Submit for Admin Review

4️⃣ Ridyne Admin Review & Activation #

Your ODBS account is now submitted for review #

Once your documentation has been submitted, the Ridyne administration team reviews the information provided.

The purpose of this review is to verify that:

  • The ODBS exists
  • The documentation is valid
  • The Department of Transport reference information is correct
  • The account can be activated

Once approved #

Your account is activated and your ODBS identity becomes associated with your Ridyne account.

🟢 CHECKPOINT: ODBS LIVE #

Before continuing, confirm that you can see your:

  • ODBS/business name
  • Responsible Officer
  • ODBS number
  • Contact details
  • Active account status

Next → Set Up Your Driver Profile

5️⃣ Switch From ODBS to Driver #

Your Ridyne account can operate in two roles #

Because an ODBS Operator may also be a Driver, Ridyne allows you to switch between the two sides of your account.

At the top of the screen, select:

Change → Driver

You are now working in the Driver role.

Why do I need to do this? #

Your ODBS profile and Driver profile contain different information.

The ODBS side manages the booking service/operator function.

The Driver side manages your:

  • Driver information
  • Driver documentation
  • Vehicle information
  • Driver compliance information
  • Driver jobs

Next → Complete Driver Setup

6️⃣ Complete Your Driver & Vehicle Setup #

Upload your Driver documentation #

Under the Driver role, complete the required driver onboarding information.

Upload the requested:

  • Driver documents
  • Driver identification/details
  • Vehicle information
  • Vehicle documentation
  • Expiry dates
  • Other required information

💡 Date Entry Tip #

Some documents may have dates many years in the past.

Don’t repeatedly tap backwards month-by-month.

Instead:

  1. Open the date selector.
  2. Select the year.
  3. Navigate directly to the required year.
  4. Select the month.
  5. Select the exact date.

This can save considerable time when entering older document dates.

Driver setup checklist #

☑ Driver details completed
☑ Driver documents uploaded
☑ Vehicle details completed
☑ Vehicle documents uploaded
☑ Expiry dates entered
☑ Information checked

Next → Return to ODBS

7️⃣ Return to the ODBS Role #

Use:

Change → ODBS

You are now back in your Operator account.

Find Pending Actions #

Open Pending Actions.

This is where you can see driver applications or other actions requiring attention.

Your newly completed Driver profile should appear as Pending until it has been reviewed and approved from the ODBS side.

Next → Review Your Driver Application

8️⃣ Review & Approve Your Driver #

Open the pending Driver #

Select the Driver application to review the complete submission.

Check the information provided, including:

  • Driver details
  • Driver documentation
  • Document numbers
  • Expiry dates
  • Vehicle information
  • Vehicle documentation
  • Other required information

📄 Document quality #

Ensure uploaded documentation is:

  • Clear
  • Legible
  • Complete
  • Correct
  • Properly oriented

Where required, upload proper A4-sized documentation rather than demonstration or placeholder images.

Before approving #

Use this as your final verification checklist:

☑ Driver identity/details checked
☑ Documents checked
☑ Document numbers checked
☑ Expiry dates checked
☑ Vehicle information checked
☑ Required documentation present

9️⃣ Approve the Driver #

When you’re satisfied that the Driver information is correct, select:

Approve Driver

Ridyne will display a confirmation such as:

Are you sure you want to approve the driver?

Confirm the approval.

Approval completed #

The Driver status will change from Unapproved/Pending to Approved.

Your dashboard counts should update accordingly.

For example:

Unapproved Drivers: 0
Approved Drivers: 1

🟢 CHECKPOINT: DRIVER LIVE #

Your ODBS and linked Driver profile are now set up.

Next → Check Your Live Account

🔟 Your Fresh Ridyne Account Is Now Live #

You have now completed the core onboarding process.

Your account should contain:

  • ODBS number
  • Contact details
  • Approved ODBS documentation

Driver #

  • Driver profile
  • Approved Driver documentation
  • Vehicle information
  • Vehicle documentation

Understand Your Two Roles #

One of the key features of Ridyne is the ability to switch between your ODBS and Driver roles.

🚗 Driver Role #

Use the Driver role to:

  • View available/current jobs
  • Manage your Driver activity
  • View jobs you may be required to undertake

🏢 ODBS Role #

Use the ODBS role to:

  • Manage your booking service
  • Review Drivers
  • Review pending actions
  • Manage customers
  • Manage bookings/jobs
  • Sign on to available bookings

Remember #

Change → Driver
for your Driver activity.

Change → ODBS
for your Operator activity.

1️⃣2️⃣ Add Your Customers #

Your newly activated account will initially be clean.

That means you may have:

Customers: 0

This is normal.

Your next step is to begin adding your customers to Ridyne.

Customer setup #

Add the information required for each customer, then verify that the information has been entered correctly.

Next → Add Your First Job

1️⃣3️⃣ Add Your Jobs #

Once customers have been added, you can begin creating jobs.

Depending on the Ridyne workflow, this may include:

  • Customer
  • Pickup
  • Destination
  • Date
  • Time
  • Passenger information
  • Driver requirements
  • Other booking information

Your account is now moving from setup into operations.

1️⃣4️⃣ Complete Additional Account Settings #

The onboarding process above covers the essential first setup.

Ridyne also provides additional configuration options under Account Settings.

Once your basic account is operational, work through the available settings to configure Ridyne for the way your ODBS operates.

This may include additional:

  • Account preferences
  • Operator settings
  • Driver settings
  • Operational settings
  • Notifications
  • Security options
  • Other Ridyne configuration
